Audience

Who this is for

The useful change is the address people see: you@yourdomain.com, with shared documents, files, and video meetings. Google Workspace and Zoho Workplace both do that. They package storage, meetings, and admin tools differently.

Freelance and independent

Invoices, client mail, and calendar invites come from your own domain instead of a personal inbox.

You are setting up the first mailboxes, shared files, and meetings for a small group.

You want the published prices and limits next to each other before you start a trial or a free mail plan.

Plans

Google Workspace plans this page can discount

The personal code applies to these two plans. The practical split is storage, meeting size, and where Gemini shows up. Feature notes were checked against Google's public pages in October 2026. The Zoho comparison is in the next section.

  • Meet for up to 100 people
  • 30 GB pooled storage per user
  • Gemini in Gmail, and the Gemini app

Business Standard

Pooled storage is shared across the organization, not locked inside one mailbox. Both Business plans allow 1 to 300 users. Prices are US dollars. Google's help center says pooled storage is granted in stages and reaches the full plan limit after a $30 subscription payment.

Comparison

Google Workspace vs Zoho

Comparable suite tiers sit side by side: Business Starter with Workplace Standard, and Business Standard with Workplace Professional. Mail-only Zoho plans are under the table, because Google Workspace does not sell a mail-only edition. As of October 2026. Prices may change.

The 10% code on this page applies to the first year of Google Workspace Business Starter or Business Standard. It does not apply to Zoho. The prices above are list prices before that code. Google sometimes shows a lower introductory price for new customers. Google says that offer, when it is available, covers the first 20 users for 12 months, and the final price is shown before you finish signup.

Google's annual plan can be billed monthly or annually depending on region. The marketing page lists the commitment prices above as billed monthly, about 16% below the flexible price. Zoho says annual billing is about 20% less than monthly billing, and that the discount may vary by region. The monthly and annual Zoho amounts in this table are the prices Zoho publishes, not a discount calculated here.

Admin and security

Each suite includes an admin console for users, sign-in settings, and the company domain. The table above has the plan differences.

Zoho mail-only plans

These plans are email, calendar, and related mail tools. Zoho's plan comparison does not include Writer, Sheet, Show, WorkDrive, or Zoho Meeting on the mail-only editions. Cliq's free edition is included.

Mail Free

Mail Lite

Mail Premium

Checkout

How to apply the 10% code

This section is only for Google Workspace. Only one promotion code can be used on a signup. If checkout already shows a different offer, read the billing summary so you know which discount was applied.

  1. Start the 14-day trial with the referral link on this page. That link is what ties the signup to this referral.
  2. Request a code with your work email. Aix sends it to that inbox, usually within 24 hours. Each code works once.
  3. When Google asks for payment details, paste the code into the Promotion code field before you finish checkout.
  4. If you are already in the trial, open Billing in the Admin console and add the code before the trial ends, including when you convert the trial to a paid plan.
  5. Read the billing summary. It should mention the promotional discount. The amount follows your plan and user count, and Google shows it on the bill.

In the United States, Canada, and EMEA, enter the code when you add billing details, before the 14-day trial signup is completed.

In Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and APAC, you can add billing details and the code at any time during the 14-day trial.

Google's own steps are in the referral program FAQ.

FAQ

Questions

Is this page run by Google or Zoho?

Aix publishes this page as an independent referrer. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Zoho. If you sign up through the Google referral link or the Zoho affiliate link, Aix may receive a reward.

How do I get 10% off the first year?

Use the form on this page and enter the work email where you want the code sent. Aix emails a single-use code to that address, usually within 24 hours. The code takes 10% off the first year of Business Starter or Business Standard. Each code goes to one person and is not posted on this page. The code does not apply to Zoho.

Where do I enter the code?

Enter it in the Promotion code field when Google asks for billing details, before you check out. In the United States, Canada, and EMEA, enter it during signup before the 14-day trial is completed. In Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and APAC, you can enter billing details and the code at any time during the 14-day trial. You can also add it under Billing in the Admin console before the trial ends, including when you convert the trial to a paid plan. The billing summary should show a promotional discount. The amount depends on your plan and how many users you pay for.

Can I start the trial before the code arrives?

Yes. Choose Start your free trial now so the signup uses the referral link. The trial lasts 14 days. Apply the code at checkout, or when you convert from the trial to a paid plan, before those 14 days end. The form only requests the code. It does not create the Workspace account.

Which plan should a small team choose?

Choose Business Starter for Gmail on your domain, Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet for up to 100 people, 30 GB of pooled storage per user, and Gemini in Gmail plus the Gemini app. Choose Business Standard for 2 TB of pooled storage per user, Meet for up to 150 people with recording and noise cancellation, Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Meet, and more, plus mail merge, appointment booking pages, and eSignature. Both plans allow 1 to 300 users. Pooled storage is shared across the organization. If you are comparing Zoho, Workplace Standard is the suite edition next to Business Starter, and Workplace Professional is the suite edition next to Business Standard. Current prices are in the comparison on this page.

How do Google Workspace and Zoho compare on price?

In US dollars, checked in October 2026, Google Workspace Business Starter is $7 per user per month with a one-year commitment or $8.40 on the flexible plan. Business Standard is $14 or $16.80 on those same terms. Zoho Workplace Standard is $3 per user per month billed annually or $4 billed monthly. Workplace Professional is $6 or $7 on those same terms. Zoho Mail Lite is $1 for 5 GB or $1.25 for 10 GB, billed annually, and Mail Premium is $4 billed annually. Prices may change. The 10% code on this page applies only to the first year of Google Workspace Business Starter or Business Standard.

Does Zoho have a free plan or a trial?

Zoho Mail Free is forever free for up to 5 users on one domain, with 5 GB of mail storage per user, and Zoho says no credit card is required. IMAP, POP, and ActiveSync are not included on that free plan. Zoho also offers a 15-day trial of the highest Workplace edition with no credit card required. Google Workspace offers a 14-day trial for new customers and does not offer a forever-free business plan.

Is the Zoho button an affiliate link?

Yes. Aix may receive a reward if you sign up through the Zoho link or the Google Workspace referral link. The Zoho link currently opens the official Zoho Workplace page until an affiliate URL is approved. This page is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Zoho.

I already use Google Workspace. Will this work?

The referral offer is for new Google Workspace customers. If that domain already has a paid subscription, Google may decline the trial or the code. Google decides eligibility at signup.

What do you store when I request a code?

The request stores your work email, plan, team size, the time of the request, the country code, and the browser user agent. Your name, company, and product interest are stored only if you provide them. Aix uses this only to email you the code. It is not a mailing list. You can ask for the submission to be deleted.

Can I share my code with someone else?

No. Each code works once, for one customer. Ask the other person to request their own code with the form.

Privacy

The form exists so Aix can email you one promotion code. That is the only use of what you submit.

What is stored

  • Work email
  • Plan: Business Starter or Business Standard
  • Team size
  • Name, if you provide it
  • Company or domain, if you provide it
  • Product interest (Google Workspace, Zoho, or not sure), if you choose one
  • Time of the request
  • Country code reported by the network
  • Browser user agent

What this is for

Aix uses the submission only to send the code. It is not sold, and it is not a newsletter list. The code itself is never written into this website. It is emailed to you, one person at a time.

Your IP address

Your IP address is not saved on the lead. A separate rate-limit counter, kept for about an hour, slows repeated submissions from the same network.

Delete on request

Ask the referrer who shared this page to delete your submission. Write from the same work email if you can, and say that you want the code request deleted. Aix removes that record from the Cloudflare KV lead store.

Where it is kept

The page runs on a Cloudflare Worker. Submissions are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV until they are deleted.
